A 36-year-old Quincy man is in “critical condition” after he was hit by a van on the Southern Artery between Brackett Street and McGrath Highway on Thursday morning, in line with police.
Quincy police introduced that the freeway was closed in each instructions as a result of crash simply earlier than 6 a.m. The driver of the van stayed on scene; the pedestrian was aware and brought to Boston Medical Center.
One northbound lane of the Southern Artery was reopened simply after 6:15 a.m., authorities stated. The Southern Artery southbound remained closed till about 7:15 a.m.
