A Boston man allegedly requested a lady for a cigarette on the Ryan Playground bike path in Mattapan again in mid-September and when she didn’t give him one, she mentioned, he attacked her. Now, he’s been arrested and is dealing with prices, state police mentioned.

Dwyarrn Burton, 26, is being charged with assault and battery with a harmful weapon, and assault and battery, in keeping with state police. He was charged with this assault after state police picked him up on a courtroom warrant on Oct. three for failing to look in courtroom on an indecent assault and battery arrest on Aug. 5.
It was round 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 17 that state police went to the scene and located the 47-year-old lady with “serious cuts and bruises to her head,” police mentioned. She was taken to a close-by hospital. She later informed police that her attacker knocked her down and hit her a number of instances. He then allegedly tried to pull her into the woods. The two aren’t believed to have recognized one another.
An outline was despatched out to space police departments, and authorities from the Lincoln division informed state police they believed that they had encountered Burton previously, in keeping with authorities.
“Troopers began searching recent addresses on file for Burton; however, he apparently moved around and his whereabouts were erratic,” officers mentioned. “During the search for Burton, troopers continued to gather video surveillance and physical evidence, which led them to believe that Burton was responsible for the Mattapan assault.”
Burton was arraigned on the costs in Dorchester District Court. He was ordered held; his subsequent courtroom date is ready for Nov. 5.
