WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump plans to give attention to Medicare when he visits a Central Florida retirement neighborhood subsequent week.
The White House says Trump will go to The Villages on Aug. 6 to debate administration progress on “securing and improving” the nationwide medical health insurance program for individuals aged 65 and over. The Republican president’s go to comes as candidates for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination debate one another over the practicality of “Medicare for All” enlargement proposals.
The go to shall be Trump’s first to Florida since mid-June, when he formally introduced his reelection bid at an Orlando rally.
Trump narrowly defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton in Florida in 2016. The state is taken into account a near-must-win in Trump’s bid to carry the White House for a second time period.
