BUXTON, Maine (AP) — Maine Game Wardens have recovered the physique of a teen who drowned within the Saco River.
Wardens say they discovered 17-year-old Steel Crawford, of Freeport, in about 50 ft of water Friday night. Witnesses mentioned Crawford let go of a rope swing and landed awkwardly within the water hours earlier. They mentioned he by no means resurfaced.
Wardens mentioned Crawford and associates had been swimming at Pleasant Point Park in Buxton, and his physique was recovered down river from the place he was final seen.
