An over-height truck struck an overpass on Storrow Drive Saturday morning inflicting gear to fall off putting a number of automobiles with particles, police stated.
Storrow Drive inbound at North Harvard Street is closed and visitors is being diverted. No accidents have been reported, Massachusetts State Police stated in a tweet.
Storrow Drive has notoriously low overpasses, and the “Storrowed” phenomenon is widespread, particularly across the busy Sept. 1 faculty move-in and house turnover interval.
