BOSTON (AP) — An Alabama man caught with a loaded handgun in his carry-on bag at Boston’s Logan International Airport informed Transportation Security Administration officers he didn’t know he had the weapon in his baggage and stated a co-worker could have put it there, the TSA stated in an announcement Wednesday.
The 9mm gun loaded with 5 bullets was noticed by a TSA X-ray machine at a safety checkpoint on Tuesday, the company stated.
The TSA contacted state police, who confiscated the gun and cited the person on a state weapons cost. The TSA didn’t launch his title.
