The investigation into the Red Sox is complete, MLB commissioner tells ESPN

Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred instructed ESPN Wednesday baseball has completed its investigation of the 2018 Red Sox, and a call might be launched earlier than the beginning of the common season.

“We are done with the investigation,” Manfred instructed ESPN host Scott Van Pelt. “There’s been a delay in terms of producing a written report because frankly I have not had time to turn to it with the other issues. But we will get a Boston report out before we resume play.”

The inquiry into whether or not the Red Sox broke guidelines in how they stole indicators began Jan. 7 after The Athletic revealed a narrative citing nameless sources accusing “some” gamers of utilizing dwell video to choose up indicators from the catcher.
