A Tewksbury resident reported seeing ‘what appeared to be a monkey.’ Now police are trying to catch it.

Police there say they responded to Michael Street round 11:30 a.m. Wednesday after a resident reported seeing “what appeared to be a monkey in the tree line of their backyard.”

Officers and the city’s Animal Control used ATVs and drones to go looking the world, noting that it’s subsequent to Tewksbury State Hospital, however didn’t see the obvious escaped ape.
