Police: Man charged after allegedly performing lewd act near Webster Lake

A Connecticut man is going through prices after allegedly performing a lewd act close to Memorial Beach in Webster.

Police stated officers responded to the scene on Thursday round Four p.m. after an 18-year-old girl, who was at Memorial Beach together with her 4-year-old sister, reported seeing a person on a swing set allegedly exposing himself and engaged in a lewd act, holding his cellphone in his hand.

Upon arrival, officers positioned the person matching the caller’s description, later recognized as Tanner Desrosiers, 27, of Woodstock, Connecticut, in response to Webster police.

Police stated the 27-year-old advised officers that he was allegedly urinating and that was what the teenager presumably noticed. He denied performing the lewd act, police stated.

Desrosiers was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness and lewd and lascivious conduct. He was launched Thursday night time on $290 money bail. Attorney data for Desrosiers was not instantly accessible.

Police stated the 27-year-old’s cellphone was seized as a part of the investigation.

“This matter is still under investigation by Webster Police Detectives,” police stated in an announcement. “More charges may be filed at a later time.”
