President Donald Trump urged former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions to “drop out” of the Alabama Senate race on Saturday and doubled down on his help for Republican candidate Tommy Tuberville.
Sessions, a former Alabama Senator who grew to become U.S. lawyer normal in 2017, has sought to return again to his Senate seat following his ousting by Trump in 2018.
