20-year-old man sought in connection with the murder of a Boston woman, 23

Lowell police are trying to find a 20-year-old man who has been charged with homicide in reference to the capturing dying of a 23-year-old Boston lady earlier this week.

In addition to homicide, Xavier DeJesus, of Lowell, is being charged with discharging a firearm inside 500 toes of a dwelling, carrying a firearm and not using a license, and possession of ammunition with out an FID card, the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office stated in a news release.

Authorities consider that DeJesus shot Deija Mendez round 3:30 p.m. Tuesday as she sat within the driver’s seat of a black Chevrolet Tahoe parked exterior a house on Coral Street. The two could have identified one another and allegedly had “a dispute over the possession of a motor vehicle” previous to the capturing, the discharge stated.

When Lowell police discovered Mendez, she was affected by a gunshot wound to the top and was pronounced useless on the scene.
